[all Wilson children born Oak Bay, St. David Parish] Several years ago Arnold and Joyce Davis visited Sarah Jane Wilson Pomeroy, called Jane, in Calais. Her father was Frederick Wilson, brother of Mary Jane who married William McDowell. Jane told them that she lived with Sadie and Ham Davis when she was young and working in the mills in Milltown. She said Sadie used to make dresses for her and made her feel like a part of the family and that she loved her very much. Marshall 96, died Dec. 9, 1995, at her residence on Lafayette Street. She was born in Baileyville 4/6/1899, the daughter of Frederick and Lillian (Tupper) Wilson. She was a member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church of Calais. Ruby was employed by Calais Regional Hospital until her retirement in October 1972. She was predeceased by her husband, S. Sterling Marshall in 1958. She is survived by one son, Sterling I. Marshall of Chatham MA; one daughter, Phoebe Wilson of Calais; one sister, Sarah Jane Pomeroy of Calais; eight grandchildren: Brian, Kevin, Sterling, Jr., Dana, Divina and Megan Marshall.
