See notes Matthews. Pioneers ME & NH pg 70: FOOTMAN, Thomas, York, gave bond for payment of money to John Hurd of Boston, tailor, 5/29/1645. Had accounts with the same 5(2)1648. [A] Rem to Dover. Taxed 10/19/1648. Juryman 1651. Will dated 8/14/1667, prob 6/30/1668 beq to wife Catherine and dau Abigail; rest to be divided equally among his children; bro Benjamin Matthews and William Follet to assist his wife in her business.
