Great Migration Project: Born circa 1613. Died 10/17/1668, drowned while whaling, caught in line thinking whale was dead. Son of John Evered alias Webb. On 9/30/1668 John Coburne of Ipswich, yeoman, acknowledged his debt to John Evered alias Webb "at the farm of Drawcutt in the County of Norfolk, late of the town of Boston in New England aforesaid merchant, and wife Mary [MLR:3-298-99] ....land purchased of Mr. John Webb alias Everett. John Evered alias Webb; Origin: Marlborough, Wiltshire; Migration: 1635 on the James; First Residence: Boston; Removes: Chelmsford 1664. Occupation: Merchant. On 14 August 1670, "Sister Goodhue, late the wife of Mr. John Webb, had her dismission granted to Ipswich church.... Freeman: probably 12/7/1636. Education: Signed his deeds & name in will. Offices: Admitted to Ancient & Honorable Artillery Company, 1643 - Ensign - Captain. Estate: "John Everet of Boston in New England, planter, and Mary Everet wife of the said John" .... John Evered alias of Drawcutt upon Mirrimacke...gentleman ... Will 40s each; residue to be equally divided among my cousins John Eyres, Robert Eyres, Thomas Eayres, Peter Eayres, & Katherine Eayres of Haverhill. Inventory taken 11/30/1668. Will dated 6/8/1680 Mary ____ (Fairweather) (Evered alias Webb) Goodhue, wife of Deacon William Goodhue of Ipswich, named her son John Fayerweather in will & 2 grandchildren. 

Pioneers of MA: Evered, alias Webb, John, husbandman, from Marlborough Eng. came in the James 4/5/1635; merchant Boston, m. Mary widow of Thomas Fairweather in 1639. Memb chh 1639. Boought land in D. 3/8/1657. Called Ensig; John Webb in an agreement 3/25/1658. Owned a farm near Chelmsford and bought a neighboring island 9 (9) 1659. He deposed 20 (4) 1659, ae about 46 years. He bought of the Indians 15 (6) 1666 the tract called Drawcutt or Augamtoocooke, upon Mynomack or Merrimack. He was downed while whaling 17 (8) 1668. Admin gr 12/15/1668 to widow Mary on petition of Thomas Hinksman. His autograph will dated at Drawcutt upon Merrimack, formerly of Boston 2/10/1665, prob at Cambridge 13 (9) 1668. beq to wife Mary; to the church of Boston; to the pastor of the chh of Chelmsford; to bro. William Dinsdale of Bo.; to servants Henry Nelson, Hugh Stone, Samuel Mercer alias Watts, John Bennet, Peter Raghtellagh and Elizabeth Kilbourne; to cousins John, Robert, thomas, Peter and Nathaniel Eayres of Haverhill; and the wife of John Usleby and any other of that family; to the eldest son of John Bishop, late of Newbury, now of Nantucket. .... Stephen, husbandman, came with John above in 1635. Was a servant of Lt. Wm. Phillips; died 9/18/1659.
